A secondhand scammer incites rage in ‘Taxi Driver 3.’
The 11th episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Taxi Driver 3,’ aired on the 26th, showed Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) pursuing a secondhand transaction scammer.
Pregnant Yoon Min-jung, hoping to save on living expenses for her sole-breadwinner husband, bought baby products from a secondhand site. However, she received a package of bricks instead.
Enraged, Yoon Min-jung tracked the scammer’s ID and reported it, hoping to prevent further victims. Subsequently, she received a call from the scammer, who threatened, “I’ll introduce myself through what happens next. Let’s start by changing your phone.” Following this, she was bombarded with incessant calls from strangers and unsolicited food deliveries.
Yoon Min-jung reported the incidents to the police, but their response was lukewarm. The scammer called again to threaten her, stating, “The police can’t catch me, but I can catch you anytime if I want,” escalating her anger.
