SM Entertainment revealed on the 22nd that they are proceeding with the legal response related to Taeyeon through ‘KWANGYA 119.’
Regarding Taeyeon, SM stated, “Six individuals have been identified by the police. Four of them are currently under investigation, and two have been sent to the prosecution for indictment. In addition, there are numerous other cases of legal action being taken, and we are waiting for progress.”
They further added, “In the future, we will actively monitor and take legal measures to protect our artists, not only in this case involving Taeyeon but also in various illegal activities. We will continue to respond strongly with legal actions.”

SM Entertainment has been continuously filing lawsuits against malicious posts, comments, and defamatory content that have been indiscriminately published and spread on various online communities, SNS platforms, and portal sites, regarding our artists. We have been collecting evidence and consistently proceeding with legal action. Now, we would like to provide an update on the progress of the legal action taken regarding Taeyeon.
Currently, the police have identified six individuals in the cases filed, and four of them are under investigation, while two have been sent to the prosecution with a recommendation for indictment. In addition, there are numerous other cases being investigated, and we are waiting for further progress.
