OMEGA X has joined hands with IPQ Entertainment, the production company behind ‘A Shoulder to Cry On,’ establishing a connection between them.
IPQ Entertainment, a comprehensive IP production group, announced today (3rd) that they have signed an exclusive contract with OMEGA X.
IPQ Entertainment stated, “We are delighted to be working with OMEGA X. Through our infrastructure, which encompasses illegal copyright monitoring, online distribution, and video production, we will expand OMEGA X’s activities as an idol group in various areas such as individual members pursuing acting, musicals, broadcasting activities, solos, unit activities, and OSTs.”
Furthermore, they stated, “We will protect the members through firm legal measures without any agreement or leniency regarding deliberate malicious slander and planned defamation incidents, thereby reviving OMEGA X’s activities.”
OMEGA X expressed their thoughts on this acquisition, saying, “All eleven members have decided to embark on a new beginning with IPQ Entertainment through deep and careful discussions. We felt IPQ Entertainment’s warm heart during our lengthy conversations and developed great trust. With the support that enables us to unleash our diverse capabilities, we will continue to grow as OMEGA X. We ask for your support and anticipation.”
IPQ Entertainment has formed a close-knit infrastructure with domestic and international digital distribution agencies, utilizing differentiated technological capabilities, monitoring programs, and conducting the identification and removal of illegal IP content, as well as reporting and responding to incidents. Through this infrastructure, they plan to support OMEGA X’s diverse activities.
Particularly, IPQ Entertainment has a deep connection as the production company of the web drama ‘A Shoulder to Cry On,’ where members Jaehan and Yechan played lead roles. Based on OMEGA X’s exclusive contract, IPQ Entertainment is poised to become a comprehensive IP production group, expanding their entertainment business while also venturing into webtoons, games, web dramas, and other cultural IPs.
OMEGA X made their official debut in the K-pop industry with their first mini-album ‘VAMOS’ and showcased their global influence by successfully completing the world tour ‘CONNECT: Don’t give up’ last year. They have been active with various album releases and their latest single ‘Dream’ in April, making appearances on radio shows, broadcast programs, and stages.
Meanwhile, OMEGA X is planning to continue their active promotions following the signing of the exclusive contract with IPQ Entertainment.
