Girls’ Generation member and solo artist Taeyeon has successfully concluded her three-month-long Asia tour.
On the 19th and 20th of the month, Taeyeon held a two-day solo concert titled ‘TAEYEON CONCERT – The ODD Of LOVE in SINGAPORE’ at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, marking the finale of her Asian tour.
This Singapore performance, being Taeyeon’s concert after approximately 3 years and 5 months, originally planned for a single show, sold out as soon as tickets were released due to enthusiastic response from local fans. An additional second show was also sold out, reaffirming Taeyeon’s ‘believe-listen Taeng’ power.
Taeyeon presented a rich setlist over the two days, including hit songs like ‘I’, ‘Four Seasons’, ‘Spark’, as well as songs that showcase her unique emotions and vocals such as ‘Better Babe’, ‘Fine’, ‘Time Lapse’, vibrant performances like ‘Weekend’, ‘No Love Again’, ‘You Better Not’, ‘Stress’, and more, captivating a total of 18,000 enthusiastic attendees.
After the concert, Taeyeon expressed, “This was a significant performance for me since it’s been a while since I’ve done a concert. Once again, you all made me realize what I do and what I love. You, my fans, are so precious, and I want to continue to meet you and satisfy you. I love you and thank you so much in a way that words cannot describe.”
Furthermore, she shared her thoughts on completing the tour, stating, “People often say they feel bittersweet after a tour, but I just feel cool. There’s another one coming, so I don’t feel sad.” Her post-tour remarks garnered attention.
Thus, Taeyeon successfully wrapped up her Asia tour with a total of 12 performances across 8 regions, including Seoul in June, followed by Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and finally Singapore. She achieved various records like sold-out shows and additional performances, concluding a successful chapter of her grand Asian tour.
