BTS V has been confirmed to appear on the music show ‘NPOP’ (Enpop).
V will be appearing on ‘NPOP,’ a new monthly K-pop chart show launched by Naver and Playlist, which is the first of its kind in South Korea.
During his appearance on ‘NPOP,’ V is set to perform four songs, including the title track from his new album. Particularly, his stages for each song will feature distinct spatial setups, aiming to enhance the immersion of his performances.
In addition, V is set to release his first solo album, ‘Layover,’ on September 8th at 1 PM. Ahead of this, the pre-released tracks ‘Rainy Days’ and ‘Love Me Again,’ which were unveiled on the 11th, have already topped the iTunes ‘Top Songs’ charts in various countries/regions and have been performing well on overseas charts.
The alternative pop R&B genre of ‘Rainy Days’ blends various white noise elements from daily life with V’s voice, elevating the song’s emotional depth. ‘Blue’ pays homage to old-school R&B while infusing a modern sound, adding a unique touch to the track. Another song, ‘Love Me Again,’ focuses on the R&B genre with a foundation in 1970s soul sound. It’s a track where V’s vocals, simple yet captivating, shine.
The title track of this album, ‘Slow Dancing,’ offers a free-spirited and languid mood with a romantic soul style reminiscent of the 1970s.
‘NPOP’ will be officially scheduled on Naver NOW starting in September. V’s ‘NPOP’ stages are planned to be revealed on September 9th and September 13th. Ahead of the regular schedule, ‘NPOP’ is currently airing the ‘PREVIEW’ episode throughout August.
