ZEROBASEONE (Sung Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, Ricky, Kim Kyu-bin, Park Gun-wook, Han Yu-jin) has made a remarkable impact in various fields including music, tours, broadcasts, and fashion.
Starting the year with the pre-release track “Doctor! Doctor!” from their fifth mini-album in January, the group followed up with the mini-album “BLUE PARADISE” in February and their first full-length album “NEVER SAY NEVER” in September, marking a continuous musical journey.
Through their “Youth Trilogy” and “Paradise Duology,” ZEROBASEONE condensed the story of the past two years, completing the synergy of “TEAM ZB1” and reaching their peak musical growth with “NEVER SAY NEVER.” Carrying the message “Nothing is Impossible,” they became the first K-pop group to achieve “million-seller” status for six consecutive albums since debut and the first fifth-generation K-pop group to surpass 9 million cumulative album sales.
ZEROBASEONE’s achievements in major international music markets are also notable. “NEVER SAY NEVER” debuted at number 23 on the U.S. Billboard 200, setting a new personal record. This year, they earned consecutive Platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for their Japanese EP “PREZENT” and Special EP “ICONIK.”
Riding this wave of popularity, ZEROBASEONE is currently on their large-scale arena world tour, “2025 ZEROBASEONE WORLD TOUR ‘HERE&NOW.'” Supported by a strong domestic and international fanbase, they are proving their iconic status with 12 performances across 7 regions.
Established as a “global top-tier” group, ZEROBASEONE has expanded into variety shows, dramas, and MC roles, sparking wide-ranging activities. Zhang Hao has gained acting recognition for his role in MBC’s drama “To the Moon,” while Kim Ji-woong starred in JTBC’s “Waiting for Kyoto.” Individually and as a group, ZEROBASEONE has also made notable contributions to fashion through photo shoots with major domestic and international magazines.
As K-pop icons, ZEROBASEONE has shown continuous upward growth, recently winning the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award at the “16th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards.” This is the highest honor in popular culture and arts, recognizing their role in spreading Korean popular culture globally and underscoring their elevated status.
Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE is successfully concluding their 2025 arena world tour “HERE&NOW” with a grand finale in Hong Kong from December 19 to 21. They are expected to continue their momentum into 2025 with ongoing year-end performances in Korea.
