Actors Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin announced a 300 million won donation on their wedding day.
According to AM Entertainment, both Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin, known for their consistent charitable activities, donated the sum to several organizations, including the Hallym Burn Foundation, Asan Medical Center, and Good Neighbors, to spread warmth as the year ends.
Since 2009, Shin Min-ah has quietly supported those in need, hoping that individuals facing difficult circumstances, from children to the elderly, can envision a hopeful future in a healthy environment. After learning about burn patients who struggle with inadequate societal attention and massive medical costs, she has actively supported them for ten years since 2015.
Kim Woo-bin began donating anonymously in 2014 to help low-income youths. He has continued his support for childhood cancer patients and marginalized communities for 11 years through Asan Medical Center. He has also consistently joined donation efforts during social disasters such as COVID-19, wildfires, and flood damage, offering a helping hand.
Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin’s ongoing charitable deeds are particularly meaningful because they stem from a sincere desire to offer even a small hand to those in need. Their genuine acts of sharing spread a positive influence.
