Do Kyung-soo (D.O.) surprised everyone by making a swift appearance at close friend Kim Woo-bin’s wedding before joining EXO on stage, showcasing remarkably quick movements reminiscent of the legendary Hong Gil-dong.
On December 20, the 2025 Melon Music Awards (The 17th Melon Music Awards) took place at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
EXO captivated the audience with a medley of nostalgic hits, starting with the intro of ‘Wolf’, followed by ‘Monster’, ‘The Eve’, and ‘Love Shot’, demonstrating their unchanging performance prowess and stage command.
This marked EXO’s first ‘MMA’ appearance in eight years, generating significant buzz since the lineup was first revealed. The reunion of Suho, Chanyeol, Do Kyung-soo, Kai, and Sehun thrilled fans, garnering an overwhelming response.
During the ‘Growl’ performance, fanchants filled the Gocheok Dome, creating an impressive scene.
They further energized the atmosphere by exclusively unveiling ‘Back It Up’, a new track from their upcoming 8th album.
Do Kyung-soo, after attending the red carpet, went to his friend Kim Woo-bin’s wedding before appearing on the main stage. While he was initially considered a strong candidate to sing at the wedding, it had been announced that he would not attend due to his ‘MMA2025’ participation.
However, Do Kyung-soo surprised everyone by showing up at Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-ah’s wedding at Seoul Shilla Hotel around 6:15 PM. He departed the wedding at 6:30 PM, spending approximately 15 minutes there. His dedication to celebrating his friend’s wedding without hesitation showcased a heartwarming gesture.
