BLACKPINK’s Jennie displayed her pop star charisma at her first domestic awards ceremony in a while.
The 2025 Melon Music Awards (the 17th Melon Music Awards, or ‘MMA2025’) took place on the 20th at the Seoul Gocheok Sky Dome.
Jennie kicked off the event with the powerful performance of ‘Seoul City,’ a track from her first solo album ‘Ruby,’ released last March.
Her appearance garnered significant attention, marking her first domestic awards show in approximately six years since 2019.
Jennie, who previously unveiled a font she helped design for Hangeul Day this year, drew attention once more by performing in a veil adorned with Hangeul characters.
She dominated the stage with her commanding voice and captivating performance, presenting ‘Zen’ and her hit ‘like JENNIE.’
Meanwhile, the ‘2025 Melon Music Awards’ featured performances by artists such as G-DRAGON, Jay Park, 10CM, Zico, EXO, WOODZ, Jennie, aespa, IVE, Hanroro, BOYNEXTDOOR, RIIZE, PLAVE, NCT WISH, ILLIT, Hearts2Hearts, Kiki, ALLDAY PROJECT, IDID, and ALPHA DRIVE ONE.
