Actor Hyun Bin spoke about his wife, Son Ye-jin.
On December 21st, a video titled ‘It Seems I Fell in Love Gradually… (Sincerely)’ was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Jung Jae Hyung’s Fairy.’
In the video, Jung Jae Hyung told Hyun Bin, “I mentioned it to (Son) Ye-jin too; I felt that you two had already started a relationship during ‘Crash Landing on You.’ You both acted so passionately. I thought such acting wouldn’t come out unless it was love.”

However, Hyun Bin firmly shook his head, stating, “The relationship started after the project ended.”
He then mentioned the movie ‘The Negotiation,’ where the two first collaborated, saying, “We hardly shot together at that time. We filmed on the same day but in different locations, and except for meeting during meals or while checking the monitor, there wasn’t much interaction.”
Hyun Bin expressed regret over this at the time.
Hyun Bin explained, “Acting together in the same space and looking into each other’s eyes is different from acting while looking at the monitor. I had a vague thought it would be nice to meet in another genre, which turned into ‘Crash Landing on You.’ We are of the same age, started our careers around the same time, and seem to have a similar trajectory, so we communicated well.”

Jung Jae Hyung then asked, “When did you fall for her as a man?” Hyun Bin, though embarrassed, replied, “There wasn’t a specific moment. Time passed like water seeping in. We talked during the project, and just like clothes getting wet, it happened gradually. I can’t recall a decisive moment, so it seems it was natural.”
When asked if he intended to work with Son Ye-jin for a third project, he nodded, saying, “But I can’t do another like ‘Crash Landing on You.’ If there’s another story, I’m definitely open to it. Suddenly, I thought about what could be interesting, and a story about a married couple whose relationship suddenly becomes strained seems intriguing. Something like ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ could also be fun.”
