Boy group Wanna One is set to reunite after seven years.
According to Xportsnews, an Mnet representative announced on January 2 that the Wanna One members, considering a reunion with their fandom Wannable, collectively decided to produce a reality program that was most beloved by their fans.
Mnet is preparing for a release in the first half of 2026. Details on the schedule and content will be provided once confirmed.
On January 1, a video titled ‘2026 COMING SOON Our Reunion’ was posted on the Mnet Plus YouTube channel. The video features a person playing a cassette tape with the Wanna One logo, accompanied by a line from their hit song “Spring Breeze.”
Additionally, members Hwang Min-hyun, Yoon Ji-sung, Park Woo-jin, and Lee Dae-hwi shared the video on their individual channels, further fueling anticipation for the reunion.
Wanna One was formed through Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2” in 2017, debuting in August of the same year and actively promoting for approximately 18 months. They gained immense popularity as a representative third-generation boy group with hit songs such as “Energetic,” “Boomerang,” and “Burn It Up.”
Following their disbandment, the members have continued to thrive, re-debuting with new groups or pursuing careers as solo artists and actors.
