
Netflix’s original series ‘Love in Translation’ has captured attention by entering the global non-English TV show Top 10 in its debut week.
‘Love in Translation’ (also referred to as ‘LIT’) is an unpredictable romantic comedy about multilingual interpreter Joo Ho-jin who becomes the interpreter for global top star Cha Moo-hee.

Since its release on the 16th, the series has recorded 4 million views (calculated by dividing viewing hours by the total running time), ranking second in the global Top 10 non-English shows. It has also entered the Top 10 list in 36 countries, including South Korea, Brazil, Mexico, Portugal, Morocco, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, demonstrating its worldwide popularity.
Foreign media commented, “The Hong sisters skillfully blend fantasy themes with deeply human emotions,” (Forbes) and “The stunning overseas scenery adds depth to their love story,” (Time).
With the captivating chemistry between Kim Seon-ho and Go Yoon-jung, and diverse overseas location shoots, ‘Love in Translation’ has captured viewers’ eyes and hearts. It is currently streaming on Netflix.
