Netflix has unveiled its 2026 lineup.

On the morning of the 21st, the ‘Next on Netflix 2026 Korea’ event took place at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul. The event showcased the direction and content lineup for Netflix in 2026.

Kang Dong-han, Netflix Korea Content VP, along with Senior Director Bae Jong-byeong, Director Kim Tae-won, and Director Yoo Ki-hwan, shared the 2026 lineup across Netflix series, films, and variety shows.

Netflix Series Lineup

The year’s first original series, ‘Can This Love Be Interpreted?’, kicks off the lineup. Viewers can also anticipate innovative settings like experiencing romance through a virtual love simulation in ‘The Boy Next Door’, as well as stories depicting sticky cohabitation in ‘A F***ing Good Time’, and ‘Recharge’, a thrilling romantic comedy about a perfect chaebol heir with a single flaw.

Additional series include ‘The Last Row Boy’, which portrays a professor’s obsessive devotion to a student’s genius; ‘Scandal’, a captivating tale of risky temptations set in the desire-repressing Joseon era; ‘Vole’, a suspense thriller inspired by folklore about mice consuming nails to become human; and ‘Slowly, Intensively’, a project from writer No Hee-kyung and director Lee Yoon-jung, starring Song Hye-kyo and Gong Yoo.

Other anticipated series are the mystery adventure ‘Lady Dua’; ‘True Education’, which defends educational rights; the adrenaline-pumping ‘Bloodhounds’ Season 2; and director Han Jun-hee’s ‘Project Road’ (working title), a cross-border serial murder chase promising thrilling catharsis.

Genre-crossing titles include the comedy-action ‘The Wondrous’, about neighborhood misfits battling villains with newfound superpowers; ‘Girogo’, Netflix’s first “young adult horror”; the visually stunning curse-breaking journey ‘Donggung’; and ‘Sweet Job’, which depicts a high-pay part-time job for debt repayment.

Netflix Variety Lineup

In variety shows, ‘Single’s Inferno’ Season 5, the first Korean reality show to reach its fifth season, and the romance-inducing ‘Born Solo, Love To Date’ Season 2, aim to add sweetness to viewers’ lives.

After topping the global TOP 10 for non-English shows for two consecutive years, ‘Black & White Chef: Culinary Class War’ returns with Season 3, alongside ‘Agents of Mystery’ Season 2, ‘Devil’s Plan’ Season 3, and ‘Kian84’s Chaotic Lodge’ Season 2, all beloved by audiences.

New variety shows include the unscripted road adventures of PD Na Young-seok and actor Lee Seo-jin in ‘Lee Seo-jin’s Dollars & Cents’; ‘Yoo Jae-suk’s Camp’ with Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Kwang-soo, Byun Woo-seok, and Ji Ye-eun; and the unprecedented winter mountain journey ‘Why Go Hiking?’ featuring Car the Garden, DAY6’s Dowoon, Lee Chae-min, and Tarzan of All Day Project.

Netflix Film Lineup

In films, ‘Pavane’ tells the story of three people who become lights in each other’s lives as they confront life and love. Director Lee Chang-dong’s new work, ‘Possible Love’, starring Jeon Do-yeon, Seol Kyung-gu, Jo In-sung, and Jo Yeo-jeong, is also set to captivate audiences.

Other films offering laughter and relatable humor include the comedic action film ‘Husbands’, where an ex-husband and current husband team up to save a kidnapped wife, and ‘Cross 2’, which returns with even richer chemistry, promising lighthearted enjoyment.

Global releases will include ‘WWE Monday Night Raw’, the film ‘Narnia’, ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4, ‘Beef’ Season 2, ‘One Piece’ Season 2, ‘Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man’, ‘Enola Holmes 3’, and ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Season 2.
