EXO’s Kai showcased his special affection for fans.
On the 23rd, the YouTube channel ‘Jibdaeseong’ released a video titled ‘The Appearance of a Psychic in a Cosmic Explosion… It’s Getting Interesting.’ The video featured EXO members Kai and Suho, who recently made a comeback, as guests, discussing various topics with MC Daesung related to their group activities.
Kai recalled last year’s MMA ceremony, saying, “Even though it’s my 14th year since debut, I was nervous.” He reminisced, “It was my first awards ceremony in a while, and fans sang along like at our concert.” Daesung agreed, saying, “I felt chills watching it too,” and added, “I watched a fan-cam, and the members were looking at the fans with dreamy eyes during the performance.”
Kai explained that he discussed this expression with fellow member D.O., saying, “Before going on stage, D.O. and I talked about having a happy stage.” Daesung observed, “It didn’t look like a warning expression, but you genuinely seemed happy,” and Suho agreed, “You looked really joyful.”
Kai also shared his feelings about solo and group activities, stating, “While doing solo activities, I often found myself wanting to be on stage quickly with the members,” adding, “These days, whenever I’m on an EXO stage, I smile. I used to be deeply immersed in the concept, but now I can’t do that anymore.”
When Daesung mentioned the agency’s entire attendance leaving quietly after the awards, Suho explained, “There were no awards or activities, so we planned to just perform quietly and leave.” Kai added, “That stage was solely for EXO-L (the fandom); I went out to protect my girls. While watching other artists’ stages is important, my main purpose was to protect my girls.” He turned to the camera and said, “Are you watching, EXO-L?” showcasing his love for fans.
Meanwhile, EXO attended the ‘2025 Melon Music Awards’ as a complete group for the first time in eight years, performing several hit songs.
