Despite Cha Eun-woo’s apology regarding allegations of 20 billion won in tax evasion, advertisers are continuing to drop him.
On the 26th, fashion brand Marithe Francois Girbaud privatized promotional videos and posts featuring Cha Eun-woo on its YouTube and social media channels.
Until that afternoon, promotional content featuring Cha Eun-woo had been available on the brand’s account but was subsequently removed. Currently, no related posts featuring Cha Eun-woo can be found on their official account or online store.

In response, the advertising industry is showing a trend of distancing itself. On the 23rd, following the allegations, Shinhan Bank privatized Cha Eun-woo’s commercial videos and images on social media platforms.
Similarly, the skincare brand Abib, for which he serves as a model, also privatized Cha Eun-woo’s videos.
Meanwhile, on the 26th, Cha Eun-woo made his first public statement regarding the tax evasion allegations.
