BTS Signals ‘Open for Business Again’ with Unprecedented Comeback Plans

방탄소년단.

Global sensation BTS has announced they are “Open for business again,” hinting at an unprecedented comeback scale.

On the 3rd, RM took to his personal account, sharing a photo with the caption, “BTS is open for business again after 4 years.”

In the photo, RM posed for a selfie while wearing a mask and brushing his hair back, exuding a relaxed vibe.

The post garnered further attention as it coincided with BTS’s full group activities. On February 2, the day prior, BTS departed for Dubai from Incheon International Airport for international engagements. Their first full group departure in approximately four years drew significant notice.

Anticipation is building as RM’s use of the “open for business” meme signals a return on an unprecedented scale.

BTS is set to host “BTS Comeback Live: Arirang” at Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Plaza on March 21 at 8 PM. This concert, commemorating the release of their new album, also titled “ARIRANG,” will premiere new songs, including the title track, at Gwanghwamun Plaza, adding to its special significance.

Big Hit Music stated, “The new album ‘ARIRANG’ encapsulates BTS’s origins, identity, and the emotions they wish to convey now,” further explaining, “Given the symbolic meaning of ‘Arirang,’ we aimed to stage the debut performance in a representative Korean landmark.”

This marks the first instance of a solo concert being held at Gwanghwamun Plaza.

Furthermore, this comeback live will be a collaboration with Netflix, generating additional buzz. It represents the first time an event staged in Korea will be live-streamed in real-time to audiences in over 190 countries/regions through Netflix.

The excitement doesn’t stop there. On March 27, a documentary film, “BTS: THE RETURN,” chronicling the new album’s production, will exclusively premiere on Netflix. The documentary captures BTS’s journey and challenges during the album’s creation, marking their return with new music after approximately three years and nine months.

Following their comeback, BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour, commencing at Goyang Stadium on April 9, spanning 34 cities for 82 concerts. All 41 North American and European tour dates, including the inaugural Goyang concert, have already sold out.
