Jang Won-young of girl group IVE has made a generous donation.
According to Severance Hospital on the 11th, Jang Won-young donated a total of 200 million won to support the treatment of pediatric patients.
Jang’s decision to donate was influenced by IVE’s fan base, which includes many children and teenagers. She hopes her contribution will support the treatment and recovery of children facing similar challenges, fostering a positive impact on their future growth.
The donation will be allocated with 100 million won to the development fund of Severance Children’s Hospital and another 100 million won to the Pediatric Department of Gangnam Severance Hospital. The funds will support pediatric patient treatment and improve the medical environment.
Meanwhile, IVE is set to make a comeback on the 23rd with their second full album, ‘REVIVE+’. They recently released the pre-release track ‘BANG BANG’.
