Jungkook Live

BTS member Jungkook garnered attention during a livestream he hosted while drinking, where he expressed his frustrations.

Jungkook hosted the live broadcast early on the 26th, accompanied by friends and his older brother. The atmosphere was relaxed as they sang and enjoyed drinks.

Jungkook shared that he had been preparing extensively for his upcoming comeback, indicating a busy schedule. Amid various stories, he confessed, “I used to smoke a lot, but I’ve really worked hard to quit,” and mentioned his agency, Big Hit Music, adding, “The moment I talk about this, the company will freak out again.”

He also expressed, “I’m just frustrated. I want to live the way I want. I don’t care about the company,” revealing his dissatisfaction. He added, “But I don’t want to lose what is precious.”

Jungkook confidently stated, “It’s my personality and my thoughts to act out when drunk,” and expressed a desire to speak freely without worrying about the company, acknowledging that it might cause controversy but asserting, “That’s me.”

Jungkook further disclosed, “I’m sorry. I don’t know. I must be frustrated. I’m human, too,” and expressed a desire to just have fun, although he acknowledged it might not work. “How many people can be honest to the world?” he wondered.

He told fans, “I wanted to be honest with ARMY. If it weren’t for the company, I would have shared everything,” and stated, “If I were an independent musician, I wouldn’t care and would have spoken freely.”

During the free-spirited atmosphere of the drinking livestream, Jungkook made an obscene gesture toward a friend and shouted a profanity, ‘FUCK,’ at the camera.

Fans reacted with mixed opinions, with some supporting his honesty and others criticizing his careless behavior.

Meanwhile, Jungkook’s group, BTS, will release their fifth studio album ‘ARIRANG’ on March 20 at 1 PM.
