BTS member Jungkook is facing unexpected controversy following a live broadcast just ahead of the group’s comeback.
Jungkook hosted a live broadcast in the early hours of the 26th, joined by a friend and his elder brother.
Already inebriated, Jungkook continued with colorful language and candid remarks, creating a tense atmosphere throughout the broadcast.
He confessed to past smoking habits, gestured rudely to a friend, and even shouted profanities in English (F***). When fans urged him to end the broadcast, he responded by saying, “Please don’t tell me what to do.”
At one point, Jungkook said, “I wanted to be honest with ARMY (the fanbase), but if not for the company, I would have said everything,” adding, “If I were a solo artist, I wouldn’t care and would say it all.”
Online speculation quickly linked his comments to previous dating rumors involving aespa’s Winter. Both agencies had remained silent on the dating rumors at the time, but Jungkook’s broadcast has reignited the issue.
Jungkook is not a solo artist, as he himself acknowledged. He is part of a group with a dedicated fanbase.
BTS is set to make a comeback with their 5th full album ‘ARIRANG’ at 1 PM on March 20th. This comeback marks their first as a complete group in 3 years and 9 months, and they are scheduled to hold a concert at Gwanghwamun Square, marking the first time a musical act will perform a solo show there. This is anticipated to be a significant milestone in their career.
However, less than a month before their comeback, the resurgence of sensitive dating rumors, coupled with his controversial language and smoking references, has created a chaotic atmosphere.
