K-pop group TXT is poised to begin a new chapter with its global fandom, MOA.
TXT (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) announced on the 4th via fan platform Weverse that they will hold a comeback showcase for their eighth mini-album, ‘7TH YEAR: A Moment When the Wind Stopped in the Thorns,’ on April 13 at 8 PM at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium.
During the event, TXT plans to unveil the stage for the new album’s title track for the first time and share behind-the-scenes stories from its production, celebrating their comeback with fans. Online streaming will also be available for those unable to attend in person. As this marks their first comeback since renewing their contract, it is expected to be a meaningful time shared with MOA worldwide.
The recently released album trailer, featuring striking contrasts between black-and-white screens and fluorescent thorny bushes, along with thorn-covered silhouettes, has drawn attention. The members’ narration of the poem ‘Thorn Tree’ by Poet and Village is sparking diverse interpretations and building anticipation for the comeback. Interest is growing in the new stories the group will share as they celebrate their 7th anniversary.
