
Stray Kids’ Felix has been appointed as the honorary ambassador for the 140th anniversary of Korea-France relations.
The French Embassy in Korea announced on the 5th at an official press conference that Stray Kids member Felix and actress Jun Ji-hyun have been appointed as honorary ambassadors for the 140th anniversary of Korea-France relations. The embassy explained their choice of Felix, noting that “as a member of Stray Kids, he has showcased a strong influence in the global music market, proving his popularity through major performances across Europe, including France. He is expanding cultural empathy among the young generation of Korea and France with his individuality and international recognition.”
Felix is expected to participate in major cultural events celebrating the 140th anniversary of Korea-France relations, promoting its significance and expanding public involvement. As an honorary ambassador, his symbolic involvement is expected to share the meaning of this anniversary with future generations and showcase the vitality of human, artistic, and cultural exchanges. Felix commented, “There are various cultural and artistic events scheduled in Korea this year, so I ask for your attention and participation.”
Stray Kids, recognized as “global top artists,” have proven their popularity in various regions worldwide, including significant activities in France. The group made history in July 2023 as the first K-pop artist to headline ‘Lollapalooza Paris.’ They are also set to attend the ‘Yellow Coin Charity Event’ hosted by France’s First Lady in 2024 and 2026. Meanwhile, Stray Kids will hold their sixth official fan meeting, ‘Stray Kids 6TH FANMEETING ‘STAY in Our Little House,’’ on March 28-29 and April 4-5 at Incheon’s Inspire Arena, connecting with their fans. The final performances on March 29 and April 5 will also be broadcast live online via Beyond LIVE for a fee.
