Aespa member Winter has made a significant societal contribution, spreading positive influence.
On the 19th, Winter donated a total of 200 million won, with 100 million won each to the UNICEF Korea Committee and the Samsung Medical Center’s Patient Happiness Fund. The funds will be used to aid children suffering from conflicts and disasters and patients in difficult circumstances.
Through this donation, Winter stated, “I hope that people who have lost their daily lives for various reasons around the world can quickly find peace again. I decided to donate to share the love I received from my fans in a meaningful way.”
In addition to this donation, Winter previously donated 100 million won to support wildfire victims in the Yeongnam region last year. She has also participated in continuous charitable activities with Aespa members, including donating to Hong Kong firefighting and relief efforts and contributing a portion of concert proceeds to support wildfires in Los Angeles, U.S.
With this recent contribution, Winter also joined the ‘UNICEF Honors Club’, a group of major donors, and plans to continue her philanthropic efforts.
Meanwhile, Aespa, including Winter, will continue their tour on April 4th at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE BSD) in Jakarta.
