BTS member J-Hope’s support for Suga’s solo album activities has been revealed.
On BTS’s official YouTube channel, ‘BANGTANTV,’ a video titled “[Episode] August D ‘AMYGDALA’ Music Video & Jacket Shoot Sketch” was uploaded on April 29.
“AMYGDALA” is the fourth track from Suga’s solo album, ‘D-Day,’ released on April 21.
The song portrays Suga facing his own trauma and his self-redemption journey.
J-Hope made a surprise visit to the music video shoot location, which took place on a wintry street, and offered words of encouragement.
He said, “I participated in one of Yoongi hyung’s songs for his album, so please show lots of love and interest.”
J-Hope participated as a featured artist, lyricist, and composer in the third track, “HUH?!” of ‘D-Day.’
Furthermore, J-Hope prepared acorn-shaped bread snacks as a gift, generously sharing them with the staff, adding warmth to the set.
After taking a commemorative photo with Suga, he bid farewell to the shooting location, shouting, “I support Suga hyung’s album more than anyone else. AMYGDALA, fighting!”
Prior to this, J-Hope showed his support by presenting a choreography video for Suga’s pre-release track, “People Pt. 2” (feat. IU).
J-Hope is currently serving his mandatory military duty, and his expected discharge date is October 17, 2024.
