Group BTS will meet fans today, March 21, for their comeback live ‘BTS Comeback Live: Arirang.’
BTS will hold ‘BTS Comeback Live: Arirang’ at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul today, March 21, at 8 PM KST.
This performance marks BTS’s first official stage as a complete group after reuniting post-military service.
On March 20, BTS released their fifth full-length album ‘Arirang (ARIRANG)’ and unveiled the music video for the title track ‘Swim (SWIM).’
The BTS members shared updates on their performance preparations during a group live session titled ‘STUDIO NOTES | ARIRANG’ on the fan platform Weverse.

RM explained, “If we try to define ourselves at this moment, our only commonality seems to be being Korean. I carefully chose the keyword, considering the feeling of being simple people with a somewhat dry meaning.”
Leader RM’s appearance in a cast after an ankle injury during comeback show rehearsals caused concern.
RM revealed, “I was preparing for the concert and worked particularly hard that day for a great stage, which led to the ankle injury.”
He reassured fans, stating, “It’s difficult to perform immediately, so I won’t be able to participate, but I will still be on stage.”
RM injured his ankle on March 19 during rehearsal. Medical examination revealed an accessory navicular sprain, partial ligament rupture, and talus contusion (ligament damage and inflammation), with doctors advising minimizing movement and focusing on recovery for at least two weeks.
RM shared, “It’s not a very serious injury, but I will take care to ensure the best possible prognosis for the concert.”
Meanwhile, due to BTS’s performance today, an approximately 1.2 km area from the north end of Gwanghwamun Square to City Hall Station has been designated as a restricted zone.

Traffic control began at 9 PM on March 20. On March 21, key roads such as Sajik-ro, Yulgok-ro, and Saemunan-ro will be controlled according to time slots from 4 PM to 11 PM. Vehicle passage through the Gwanghwamun underpass is also restricted.
The members unanimously emphasized, “Safety is the top priority.”
RM recalled, “There was a good precedent of safely concluding the Yeouido event on our 10th anniversary. I have no doubt our ARMYs will do well.”
Jin also reiterated, “For it to be remembered as a good performance, it must conclude safely without major incidents.”
BTS’s comeback live will be broadcast live to over 190 countries via Netflix.
