Singer G-Dragon has filed a lawsuit against online media operators accused of spreading false information.
According to MHN, G-Dragon’s agency, Galaxy Corporation, announced on the 23rd that it has expanded its large-scale lawsuit related to G-Dragon to include not only malicious commenters but also operators of certain online media outlets that previously published accusatory articles.
These online media outlets reportedly continued to raise suspicions regarding G-Dragon’s past activities. However, a police investigation at the time cleared G-Dragon of these suspicions.
Since then, G-Dragon has continued to take legal action against creators of malicious posts, citing defamation, insult, sexual harassment, spreading false information, and malicious slander.

On the 24th of last month, G-Dragon’s agency stated, “Some suspects have admitted to the charges, and their investigations are complete, with prosecution processing currently pending.” They added, “Active investigations are ongoing against suspects who deny the charges.”
Additionally, Galaxy Corporation continuously monitors all expressions referring to the artist, both domestically and internationally, and has expressed a firm intention to expand civil and criminal actions.
In 2024, G-Dragon voluntarily appeared at the police station amid drug allegations. After an investigation, he returned home and posted the phrase ‘Justice will prevail’ on his social media account.
After proving his innocence, he donated 100 million won to a drug prevention foundation and recently contributed 880 million won from the profits of his designed ‘Peaceminusone Highball’ to support youth addiction treatment.
