BTS member RM, whose candid comments during a recent live broadcast sparked discussion, has shared related anecdotes.
On March 26, a video titled “Are You Eating? ft. BTS RM, Suga” was uploaded on Epik High’s YouTube channel.
On this day, Epik High members Tablo, Tukutz, and Mithra invited BTS’s RM (real name Kim Nam-joon) and Suga (real name Min Yoon-gi) to share a meal and chat following their international tour.
Epik High presented RM with a panel they had kept after its production. Tablo joked, “Take it and do a live broadcast. Don’t you do tons of them?” RM firmly replied, “I won’t do it anymore,” eliciting laughter.
Tablo revealed that RM had texted him after a live broadcast, expressing regret: ‘I shouldn’t have done the live broadcast.’
In response, Tukutz candidly commented, “See, that’s what I observed. Stop being so angry,” acknowledging RM’s demeanor.
Tablo encouraged RM, stating, “Your live broadcasts are genuinely entertaining.” Suga added, “Isn’t that because you watch it with affection?” RM chimed in, “Isn’t it like you’re looking in a mirror?”
When someone mentioned, “there’s satisfaction in watching,” Tukutz agreed, stating, “Isn’t RM logical? He’s similar to Tablo.”
RM then asked, “Don’t you get angry too?” Suga noted RM’s expressive style, remarking, “From a viewer’s perspective, doesn’t it offer a cathartic feeling? And after all, he’s a musician.”
They discussed RM, saying, “Honestly, he seems like an MC. A true MC,” adding, “He’s the kind of MC we recognize in our world.”
In December 2025, RM made headlines after discussing the potential disbandment of BTS during a live broadcast.
At that time, RM conducted a live broadcast on a fan communication platform, mentioning the group’s possible comeback. He expressed, “We’ve changed, and so have you. We must move forward. I’ve thought thousands of times whether it’s better to disband or take a break,” which left fans in shock.
Amid the confusion surrounding his disbandment remarks, RM later expressed, “I’m sorry if I exhausted many ARMYs during the live broadcast two days ago. I received many calls of concern,” admitting, “I regret turning on the live broadcast; I was just overwhelmed. I’m sorry.”
