During the SBS variety program “‘But Actually!’,” Kai discussed the education SM trainees receive.
Singer Jeon Somi joined the four hosts—Tak Jae-hoon, Lee Sang-min, Lee Su-ji, and Kai—on the episode of “‘But Actually!'” that aired on the 30th.
During the program, Kai revealed that SM provides trainees with a variety of educational programs, including etiquette lessons and speech training.
He added, “They also attend academic classes and must achieve good grades. If their debut is uncertain, they need to study to prepare for a new life path,” a statement that garnered significant attention.
Jeon Somi and Kai also shared that trainees recognize each other, humorously demonstrating how they might dance in the streets—not flamboyantly, but maintaining a subtle rhythm—recreating the scene to the audience’s amusement.
