Tony Leung Returns to Seoul After 18 Years for Special Interview with Lee Jung-jae

Actor Tony Leung, visiting Korea for the 82nd Venice International Film Festival official selection “Silent Friend” (directed by Ildikó Enyedi), will meet Lee Jung-jae for a special “NICE TO MEET Q” interview with GQ Korea.

“Silent Friend” is a film that tells the story of characters from the years 1908, 1972, and 2020, all connected through a single ginkgo tree.

GQ Korea’s “NICE TO MEET Q,” which features artists interviewing artists, has generated significant interest with top actors participating.

Previous editions of GQ Korea’s “NICE TO MEET Q” have featured Seventeen’s Vernon interviewing Leonardo DiCaprio and Benicio Del Toro, while Choi Woo-shik met with director Bong Joon-ho, Mark Ruffalo, Steven Yeun, and Naomi Ackie to discuss Bong’s film “Mickey 17”.

This year’s highly anticipated “NICE TO MEET Q” will spotlight the meeting of Tony Leung and Lee Jung-jae, bringing together two top stars.

In this interview, Lee Jung-jae will take on the role of the interviewer, discussing a variety of topics about “Silent Friend” with Tony Leung. The conversation is also expected to showcase the mutual admiration between these two world-renowned actors.

“Silent Friend” is set to premiere on April 15th.
