
Actor Woo Do-hwan reunites with global fans through season 2 of the series ‘The Bloodhounds’.
In season 1 of the Netflix series ‘The Bloodhounds’, released in 2023, Woo Do-hwan’s portrayal of ‘Kim Gun-woo’, a pure-hearted young boxer, became a career-defining role. The character Kim Gun-woo embodies an honest nature and strong mental fortitude. Through this role, Woo delivered both dazzling action and a deeply woven coming-of-age story. His performance, complete with the physique of a professional boxer and nuanced expressions, captivated audiences worldwide.
Season 2, returning three years later, expands its setting to a global underground boxing league, enhancing its scale. Woo Do-hwan is set to lead with improved character abilities and a more spectacular storyline. His chemistry with Lee Sang-yi, who plays ‘Woo-jin’ and returns from season 1, is expected to be even stronger, heightening anticipation.
Last year, Woo also impressed with his role as ‘Baek Ki-hyun’, a military academy officer, in the Disney+ original series ‘Made in Korea’. The series is set to release its second season later this year, where Woo promises a more dynamic performance.
