In ’21st Century Grand Duchess,’ IU lavished affection on Byun Woo-seok.
The second episode of MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama ’21st Century Grand Duchess,’ which aired on the 11th, depicted Seong Hee-joo (portrayed by IU) trying to win the heart of Lee An-daegun (portrayed by Byun Woo-seok).
After Lee An-daegun rejected her proposal, stating his desire for a love marriage, Seong Hee-joo followed him to various locations including stables, dining venues, and theaters.
Seong Hee-joo appeared cheerfully, telling him, “I missed you, even though I saw you yesterday.” When asked if she was going to volunteer at an animal shelter, Lee An-daegun retorted, “Did you investigate me?”
In response, Seong Hee-joo winked, saying, “Didn’t you say you wanted a love marriage? I’m aiming for your heart.” She later approached Lee An-daegun while he was running and asked, “I missed you; shall I run with you?” He swiftly ran ahead.
Seong Hee-joo also sent finger hearts from the road, saying, “I missed you,” and at the theater, she declared, “Watch the movie; I’ll watch mine.”
