EXO Sells Out Sixth Solo Concert ‘EXhOrizon’

EXO has kicked off its sixth solo concert tour, reaching the peak of excitement that began last year-end.

The ‘EXO PLANET #6 – EXhOrizon in SEOUL’ concert, held from the 10th to the 12th at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Seoul, sold out all seats, including those with restricted views, and attracted over 32,000 attendees. The final concert was live-streamed via Beyond LIVE and Weverse, allowing fans worldwide to join the experience.

The concert, the first for EXO in 6 years and 4 months, combines “EXO” and “Horizon” in its name “EXhOrizon,” symbolizing the beginning of a new world when EXO and their fans, EXO-L, unite. The members prioritized their fans, meticulously preparing signature power vocals and performances, along with a unique concept inspired by EXO’s world. This concept featured elements like the tree of life, total eclipse, red energy, and individual member superpowers, enhancing the concert’s quality.

EXO opened grandly with “MAMA,” bringing together the “Cloaked Corps,” and garnered continuous cheers with hit tracks like “Monster,” “Overdose,” “Growl,” and “Love Shot.” The group also performed an EDM medley featuring “Power,” “Don’t fight the feeling,” and “Run,” as well as medley stages of title tracks like “Tempo,” “Ko Ko Bop,” and “CALL ME BABY.”

Grand stages continued, announcing the ‘return of the kings.’ These included “EL DORADO” set against a golden temple; “Don’t Go” featuring a flower-shaped lift and laser-mapped butterfly; an immersive narrative for “Forever” using a crown as an object; “Crown” with an impressive ending on aerial stairs; “Back It Up” with 20 dancers in explosive choreography; and “Crazy” showcasing restrained sexiness.

Special stages further highlighted each member’s charm. These featured Suho’s emotive vocals in “Total Eclipse”; Chanyeol’s impressive rap and dance break in “Gravity”; Kai’s captivating choreography with a cloth doll in “Jekyll”; Sehun’s dynamic performance in “Artificial Love”; and the chemistry between Suho and D.O. in “Baby, Don’t Cry.”

Towards the end of the concert, the members, with tears in their eyes, expressed, “We were worried since it’s been a while, but seeing your smiles gave us strength. EXO-L is like the four seasons—spring, summer, fall, and winter to us. Thank you for your unwavering support over the last 14 years.” They added, “If eternity exists, it would be our story, and you have made it possible by staying with us. We want to be on stage with you forever.”

EXO will embark on their concert tour across 14 locations worldwide, with stops in Ho Chi Minh in April; Nagoya, Taipei, Bangkok, and Macau in May; Osaka, Jakarta, Hong Kong, and Kuala Lumpur in June; and Manila, Tokyo, Kaohsiung, and Singapore in July, following the Seoul shows.
