NCT 127

A documentary that tells the story of NCT 127 from their childhood to their current activities as K-pop artists will be released on Disney+.

‘NCT 127: The Lost Boys’ (directed by Jayil Pak), which captures the honest stories of global artists NCT 127 members, will be available on Disney+ on August 30th.

‘NCT 127: The Lost Boys’ is a neo-essay that looks back at the childhood of NCT 127, who were once ordinary students and sons before becoming stars, and honestly portrays what NCT 127 feels now.

While idol documentaries have often focused on the members’ trainee days and current activities, ‘NCT 127: The Lost Boys’ brings forth the deep memories and childhood of the members that have never been revealed before, adding a special touch for the fans. The documentary promises to capture the inner thoughts of the NCT 127 members through interviews, as well as performances, animations, and new directing styles to create a diverse and special portrayal of their past and present.

In particular, the film is directed by Jayil Pak, who received attention at domestic and international film festivals with the short film ‘Georgia.’ Producer Cho Youngchul, known for works such as ‘Persona’ and ‘So Not Worth It,’ and director Yim Pil-sung, who has directed films in various genres including ‘Doomsday Book,’ ‘Scarlet Innocence,’ and ‘Persona,’ participated as planners. This raises expectations for a documentary that goes beyond the conventional format and offers a unique concept and captivating content.

Meanwhile, the Disney+ original documentary series ‘NCT 127: The Lost Boys’ is scheduled to be released on August 30th.
