Netflix’s “Squid Game 2” has become embroiled in controversy regarding on-set harassment.
On the 11th, the production team of “Squid Game 2” stated to Xportsnews, “We received reports on the 10th that citizens experienced discomfort during the filming of ‘Squid Game 2’ at Incheon Airport,” and they apologized for causing inconvenience, stating, “We made our best efforts to provide detailed information to the citizens about the on-set situation, but we apologize for the inconvenience we caused.”
They further added, “We sincerely thank the citizens for their understanding and cooperation in allowing the filming. We will be even more cautious in the filming process in the future.”
On the same day, a post with the title “I saw one of the ‘Squid Game 2’ staff members who I thought was a security guard” was uploaded on an online community. The author of the post mentioned that they witnessed a staff member at Incheon Airport on the previous day, who used an irritated tone to instruct people trying to use the escalator to go elsewhere, expressing their dissatisfaction with the incident.
Meanwhile, “Squid Game 2” recently finished script reading and has entered the filming stage.
