“Role Model NCT•ENHYPEN”… HORI7ON, Will They Capture Korean Fans’ Hearts?

HORI7ON

Group HORI7ON has completed their K-training and made their debut in Korea.

HORI7ON (VINCI, JEROMY, MARCUS, KYLER, REYSTER, WINSTON, KIM) held a debut showcase for their first full-length album ‘Friend-SHIP’ at Olympic Hall, Olympic Park, Seoul, on the 24th.

HORI7ON was selected through the joint Korean-Philippine audition program ‘Dream Maker’ and has embarked on the world stage after going through K-training. As all members hold Philippine nationality, they expressed their excitement for their upcoming activities in Korea.

The members said, “It doesn’t feel real. Finally, the day we prepared so much for has come. We are truly grateful for our official debut,” and they added, “From today on, as HORI7ON, we want to show our infinite charm to people all around the world.”

Their title track ‘SIX7EEN’ is an impressive song with an addictive melody and a catchy chorus with slap bass, capturing the boundless energy of the talented teenagers with their perfect hexagon abilities.

Furthermore, the album includes a variety of tracks that maximize the individual charms of the members, including solo songs and collaborations with their agency colleagues Lapillus HAEUN, TFN LEO, and NOA on ‘How You Feel’ and ‘Bonnie & Clyde,’ ‘Light Way,’ and more, representing diverse genres.

JEROMY commented on the K-training system, “The training system is really different. What sets K-training apart is that the system is well-organized, and schedules are well-managed. It feels more detailed in some aspects.”

The members also explained the differences they noticed in the Korean music industry, saying, “When we came to Korea, we were really surprised by the strict sense of time. We were amazed that even being 30 seconds late could cause delays in the schedule. Now we have gotten used to it.”

HORI7ON emphasized their uniqueness, saying, “We came from a survival show. All seven members were born from the luck and votes of the people. Everyone had dreams of K-pop, so our passion and energy to achieve that are different.”

They also revealed that pronouncing the Korean lyrics in their title track ‘SIX7EEN’ was difficult at first, but with great effort, they all mastered it in time.

As for their role models, they mentioned NCT and ENHYPEN, saying, “The K-pop groups themselves are really diverse. That’s why all the members like and admire senior K-pop groups.”

Being all foreign members, the attention is on whether they can capture the hearts of Korean fans. The members showed their confidence, saying, “We recently performed at Jamsil High School festival stage. We were thankful for the students’ enthusiastic support.”

Meanwhile, HORI7ON released their debut full-length album ‘Friend-SHIP’ through various online music sites at 6 p.m. on the same day.
