BABYMONSTER solidified their status as the “next-generation global girl group” by attracting 100,000 fans to their first fan concert in Japan this year. Previously, they drew 150,000 spectators during their first tour in Japan earlier this year.
The group held their ‘BABYMONSTER [LOVE MONSTERS] JAPAN FAN CONCERT 2025’ on December 6 and 7 at the Hyogo Zuraion Arena in Kobe, marking a successful finale with sold-out shows on both days. The larger arena compared to last year’s Kobe fan meeting highlighted the group’s growing popularity.
The first fan concert in Japan was held across eight shows in four arena-level cities: Chiba, Tokyo, Nagoya, and Kobe, drawing an offline audience of 100,000. The Tokyo concert was broadcasted live on TBS, reaching an even larger audience, alongside popular relay pop-up stores in each city.
The concert began with explosive energy, filled with cheers from the start. BABYMONSTER opened with hits like “WE GO UP,” “SHEESH,” and “DRIP,” showcasing powerful live vocals and dynamic performances that captivated the audience.
The combination of song, performance, and fan service was perfect, featuring a rich setlist with their first original Japanese song “Ghost” and tracks from their mini-album [WE GO UP]. YG’s signature live band sound and special effects added to the impact. The event also featured fluent Japanese communication, dance challenges, moving cars, and signed balls, enhancing the concert experience.
BABYMONSTER expressed gratitude, saying, “Thanks to our fans, ‘MONSTIES,’ we were able to perform on such a great stage. We hope our music makes your daily life happier, and we’ll keep running hard for MONSTIES. Every moment of the concert was special, and we hope it becomes a good memory for all of you. We thank MONSTIES for filling this place.”
Having concluded the ‘BABYMONSTER [LOVE MONSTERS] JAPAN FAN CONCERT 2025’ successfully, BABYMONSTER is set to meet their Asian fans again on December 27 and 28 at Bangkok’s Impact Arena, and on January 2 and 3, 2026, at Taipei Arena.
