“Sorry for Causing Fatigue”… RM Apologizes for ‘BTS Disbandment’ Remarks

BTS RM

RM of the group BTS has apologized for mentioning the disbandment of the team during a live broadcast.

On the 8th, RM addressed the Weverse community saying, “I feel sorry for causing fatigue to many ARMYs with the live broadcast two days ago. I received many concerned messages.”

He added, “I regret turning on the live broadcast, but I was overwhelmed by my feelings. I’m sorry,” and continued, “I will focus on making music, practicing choreography diligently, working on new content, and living well.”

Previously, on the live broadcast on the 6th, RM shared, “There are ARMYs around me. Some inform me of incidents, and others send me things,” expressing that “if something happens, I’m not someone who can explain myself. I have many shortcomings, but I like to talk about what I can.”

RM also spoke about why the group hasn’t made a swift comeback even after all members have been discharged, “Many ask why we wasted the latter half of 2025, and why we did nothing. We didn’t want to waste it either. I wanted to do a lot of activities after discharge,” adding, “There are things I can’t speak about, and there were reasons we decided not to be active in the latter half of the year, which I can’t disclose.”

He continued, “Naturally, we’ve changed, and so have you. While I’m cautious about commenting on it, shouldn’t we move forward?” He admitted considering “whether it would be better to stop the team.” However, he revealed, “The reason for continuing the team is because of the love among us and the love and respect we have for you,” reflecting on thoughts about ‘disbandment.’

However, prior to RM’s live broadcast, relationship rumors between Jungkook and aespa’s Winter had surfaced, with neither agency giving a particular stance, leading to a virtually acknowledged dating atmosphere. Amidst the confusing fandom, RM’s remarks had a significant impact, prompting his apology.
