K-pop group B1A4 has departed from their debut agency and established their own company, signifying their continued strong bond.
WM Entertainment announced on the 23rd that its exclusive contract with B1A4 (CNU, Sandeul, Gongchan) has concluded.
B1A4 had been with WM Entertainment since their debut in April 2011. Acknowledging their 14-year relationship, WM Entertainment stated it would continue to support B1A4’s activities for a period even after the contract’s termination.
Amidst news of their departure from their longtime agency, the fandom was abuzz. However, at midnight, the group hinted at ongoing activities by releasing Christmas-themed photos through their official accounts.
B1A4 uploaded Christmas concept snapshots and challenge videos on their official social media accounts, delighting many fans.
It was also revealed that the three members have united to establish ‘B1A4 Company.’ Corporate registry records confirm that a company bearing the name B1A4 Company was established on the 22nd.
Management tasks will reportedly be handled by Heoelp, with all three members serving as in-house directors and artists under B1A4 Company.
B1A4 stated, “The three of us established B1A4 Company with the intention of continuing our activities alongside our fans. This is a new challenge, and while we’re excited and a bit scared, we intend to support each other to navigate it well. We hope our fans, BANA, will always be by our side.
