K-pop group B1A4 has parted ways with their long-time agency, WM Entertainment, to establish their own venture while maintaining strong bonds within the team.

WM Entertainment announced on the 23rd the termination of their exclusive contract with B1A4 members CNU, Sandeul, and Gongchan. B1A4 had been with WM Entertainment since their debut in April 2011. Given their 14-year relationship, WM Entertainment stated it plans to temporarily continue supporting B1A4 even after the contract ends.

As news of their departure after 14 years stirred their fanbase, the group hinted at ongoing activities by releasing Christmas-themed photos on their official accounts at midnight.

B1A4 uploaded Christmas concept photos and challenge videos to their official social media accounts, delighting many fans.

It was also revealed that the trio has formed ‘B1A4 Company’. Official records confirm the establishment of B1A4 Company on the 22nd.

Heeotpieup will handle management responsibilities, with all three members serving as both directors and artists within B1A4 Company.

B1A4 expressed their excitement and apprehension about the new venture, stating, “We three members of B1A4 have established B1A4 Company with the intention of staying close to our fans through consistent activity. Although this new challenge is both thrilling and intimidating, the three members intend to support each other through it all. We hope our fans, Bana, will constantly be with us as we endeavor to reward them with various activities. Please support and watch us. Let’s fly B1A4!”

In an era where more K-pop groups pursue both individual and collective activities after contract termination, the tight-knit trio’s company formation has generated significant excitement among fans.

As they approach their 15th anniversary, B1A4 promises a rich lineup of commemorative activities, including albums, exhibitions, and concerts.
