SBS weekend drama ‘Taxi Driver 3’ recently achieved a peak viewership rating of 19.1% nationwide and 15.2% in the capital area for its 12th episode. It has also held the top spot for six consecutive weeks in the TV drama sector, according to the FunDex influence survey by Good Data Corporation, and was named the most-liked TV program by Gallup Korea in December.
Additionally, at the ‘2025 SBS Drama Awards’, ‘Taxi Driver 3’ won Drama of the Year, and Lee Je-hoon, who plays the role of Kim Do-gi, received the Best Actor award, solidifying the show’s immense popularity.
In the previous episode, the ‘Rainbow Dark Heroes’—including Do-gi (Lee Je-hoon), Director Jang (Kim Eui-sung), Go-eun (Pyo Ye-jin), Chief Choi (Jang Hyuk-jin), and Officer Park (Bae Yoo-ram)—targeted a second-hand scam ring involved in heinous crimes through a second-hand goods app, unfolding a spectacular storyline.
During this mission, Do-gi discovered the presence of professionals who orchestrate crimes for the gang leader (Park Si-yoon). He then ventured to Samheungdo, the base of their operations, raising anticipation for upcoming developments.
In the upcoming 13th episode, the Rainbow Dark Heroes will embark on a full-scale pursuit of the professional crime planners known as the ‘Samheungdos.’ Following Do-gi and Director Jang, all team members will infiltrate Samheungdo to launch blockbuster-level revenge services. Notably, Do-gi approaches their leader, Ko Jak-ga (Kim Seong-kyu), posing as a criminal consulting client, which further heightens interest.
