A social media post by actor Byun Yo-han, who is in a public relationship with Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young with marriage on the horizon, has garnered significant attention, according to Xportsnews.
On January 1, Byun Yo-han posted a photo on his personal social media channel with the caption: “The year 2025 is behind us, and I hope this year you slowly walk in the direction of your choice. Above all, stay healthy. Happy New Year. For those who haven’t had tteokguk yet, just grab a spoon and have a bite. Happy New Year.”
The photo showed a neat New Year’s table spread, featuring tteok mandu-guk (rice cake and dumpling soup) prepared with various types of dumplings and rice cakes, along with white rice and kkakdugi (diced radish kimchi).
Fans who saw the post also extended New Year’s greetings to Byun Yo-han, and some comments notably mentioned Tiffany Young. This attention follows news from last month that Byun Yo-han and Tiffany Young are dating with the intention of marriage.
Some netizens pointed out that Tiffany Young’s reflection seemed to appear in the spoon next to the tteok mandu-guk.
The reflection showed a person in a pink outfit opposite Byun Yo-han, who was wearing green and appeared to be taking the photo. This led to speculation that the person could be Tiffany Young.
Following the announcement of their relationship, a previously deleted past post by Byun Yo-han resurfaced. That photo had shown Tiffany Young reflected in a mirror as she took a picture of Byun Yo-han.
Byun Yo-han and Tiffany Young co-starred in the Disney+ original series ‘Uncle Samsik,’ released in May 2024. Their collaboration reportedly led them to develop a romantic relationship and decide on marriage.
After news of their plans for marriage broke, both shared handwritten letters on their personal social media channels. Byun Yo-han wrote, “I am cautiously and nervously sharing this sudden news. Tiffany Young also spoke about Byun Yo-han, stating, “He allows me to see the world positively and with hope, providing me with stability.
