‘From Today, a Human’ is set to premiere with an exciting, romantic, and mysterious fantasy storyline.
The new SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘From Today, a Human,’ airing its first episode on the 16th, released an unpredictable highlight video on the 14th. The video introduces Eun-ho (played by Kim Hye-yoon), Kang Si-yeol (played by Romin), and other characters whose lives are intertwined through various stories and connections.
‘From Today, a Human’ is a fantasy romance centered on an MZ gumiho who resists becoming human and a narcissistic human entangled in chaotic romantic adventures. Set in a never-before-seen gumiho universe, it weaves a lively and whimsical narrative that blends reality and imagination.

Released two days before the premiere, the highlight video immediately captivates viewers with MZ gumiho Eun-ho’s past and her mournful voice declaring, “I won’t become human. I won’t love humans. I won’t live miserably and die unhappily.”
Her intriguing gumiho life piques curiosity, while her appearance in the same bed with the human Kang Si-yeol—whom she once considered “less than a gumiho”—sparks interest in their evolving relationship.
For Eun-ho, an “eccentric gumiho who rejects good deeds and men,” living in the human world is akin to a game’s microtransactions: “enjoying only fun things without any hardships.” However, she finds herself fatefully entangled with Kang Si-yeol, a “superstar soccer player who knows nothing but soccer and himself.” Their entanglement begins with Hyun Woo-suk (played by Jang Dong-joo), an “unfortunate soccer player expelled even from the fourth league.”

Moved by Hyun Woo-suk’s plea, “I can’t quit like this,” Kang Si-yeol produces Eun-ho’s wish card. Eun-ho dramatically grants Hyun Woo-suk’s wish and forces Kang Si-yeol to bear the consequences, boldly stating, “I changed your destinies.” This sharply contrasts with Kang Si-yeol’s frustrated cry, “I can’t live like that. No, I won’t!”, heightening curiosity.
Other characters also make intriguing appearances: Geum-ho (played by Lee Si-woo), a Gumiho-like sister who lived with Eun-ho centuries ago; Yi-yun (played by Choi Seung-yoon), a VIP client of Eun-ho and the fourth-generation of the Geumsu Group who believes money can do anything; and Jang Do-cheol (played by Kim Tae-woo), an enigmatic shaman hunting gumiho.
The phrase “The moment of choice that finally came to the gumiho” hints at a rapidly shifting dynamic between Eun-ho and Kang Si-yeol. Viewers are curious whether the “free-spirited” gumiho Eun-ho can reclaim her lost powers and embrace love for the first time.
The new SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘From Today, a Human’ will premiere on the 16th at 9:50 PM.
