Netflix’s original entertainment show ‘Death Game’ has released its main poster, building anticipation.
Premiering on the 28th, the Netflix original variety show ‘Death Game’ features a 1-on-1 mental showdown where a single round decides the outcome. This new survival concept challenges players to win solely with their brains, without alliances or politics. Winners earn a ten million won prize and the chance to compete in subsequent games, while losers face immediate elimination.
The main poster, released on the 16th, features participants including Lee Sedol, Hong Jin-ho, Pani Bottle, Yulisa, Seven High, Park Sung-woong, Chef Kwon Sung-joon (Napoli Mafia), Pengsoo, and lawyer Yang Na-rae, all displaying an intense demeanor as they prepare for the 1-on-1 deathmatch. The phrase “1:1 Mental Showdown” highlights the show’s core concept, with each competitor displaying unique expressions and poses that hint at their determination.
Of particular note is the matchup between Go legend Lee Sedol and former pro-gamer and ‘The Genius’ champion Hong Jin-ho, raising excitement for their epic confrontation.
The bottom of the poster prominently features broadcaster Park Sang-hyun and commentator Jang Dong-min. Known for dominating survival shows like ‘The Genius’ and ‘Bloody Game’, Jang Dong-min’s role as commentator adds another layer of intrigue.
Following the announcement of its launch, ‘Death Game’ has attracted explosive interest and anticipation. The inclusion of Pengsoo, a notable participant in brain-themed survival, has heightened the buzz following the teaser release. The question of who will achieve five straight wins and become the ultimate Death Game master intensifies curiosity.
‘Death Game’ will release episodes 1 and 2 on Netflix on the 28th at 5 PM, followed by weekly releases every Wednesday at 5 PM.
