Anticipation is building over whether BTS will hold their first full-group comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square ahead of their return on March 20.

According to Xportsnews, Big Hit Music stated on the 19th that discussions are underway regarding BTS’s comeback performance. The agency added, “We will announce it officially once details such as the venue and schedule are finalized.”

Yonhap News TV reported on the same day that BTS plans its first full-group comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square.

According to the report, HYBE has applied for permission to use the title ‘K-Heritage and K-POP Fusion Concert,’ listing potential locations such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun Gate and its Wollae area, and Sungnyemun Gate.

The concert is envisioned as a free event, with March 20, their comeback day, and the weekend of March 21-22 as possible dates. Between 15,000 and 20,000 attendees are expected to be selected through a prior application process.

BTS will make a full-group comeback on March 20 with their fifth studio album, ‘Arirang,’ marking their return after three years and nine months. Following the album’s release, they will embark on a large-scale world tour, kicking off in Goyang on April 9.
