BLACKPINK’s Rosé will take the stage at the Grammy Awards.
The Recording Academy, which hosts the Grammys, announced on the 29th (local time) that Rosé will perform as part of a special stage at the 68th Grammy Awards held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Rosé has been nominated in three categories: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her song “APT.”
Additionally, HYBE’s global girl group Cat’s Eye, nominated in two categories including Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, will also perform. These performances are expected to bring a strong K-pop presence to this year’s Grammy Awards.
Meanwhile, Rosé, as the first K-pop artist nominated for two of the Grammy’s four main categories—Song of the Year and Record of the Year—has heightened expectations for a potential win.
The 68th Grammy Awards will be held on February 1.
