Artists and producers Zico and Crush have released a new version of their song ‘Yin and Yang,’ reimagined by the hip-hop and R&B crew FANXY CHILD.
‘Yin and Yang (FANXY CHILD Ver.)(Feat. DEAN, PENOMECO),’ which dropped on the 4th at 6 p.m., is a remix of their track released last month. Fellow FANXY CHILD members DEAN and PENOMECO joined Zico and Crush on the track.
The track offers a distinct charm compared to the original. It features sharp raps over a dense beat and contrasting soft vocals, with newly added sections enhancing the listening experience. Lyrics showcasing each artist’s individuality are a highlight of the song.
Formed in 2016, FANXY CHILD comprises Zico, Crush, DEAN, PENOMECO, MILLIC, and Stay Tuned. The crew has released various tracks, including ‘Y,’ Zico’s ‘FANXY CHILD (Feat. FANXY CHILD),’ and MILLIC’s ‘PARADISE (FEAT. FANXYCHILD).’ This release marks their first collective song in approximately six years and six months since the single ‘Y’ in August 2019, and it is expected to receive an enthusiastic response from music fans eagerly awaiting their new work.
Meanwhile, Zico is currently appearing as a producer on Mnet’s ‘Show Me the Money 12,’ which airs every Thursday at 9:20 p.m. He is also set to hold his first solo concert in Japan in eight years, ‘2026 ZICO LIVE : TOKYO DRIVE,’ on the 7th.
