BLACKPINK’s Jisoo made a surprise appearance in a Super Bowl halftime advertisement, garnering significant attention during North America’s biggest sports event.
On February 8 (local time), Jisoo was featured in the halftime advertisement for ‘Super Bowl LX’ (the 60th Super Bowl), which took place at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco, California.

The advertisement, unveiled that day, was part of a 30th-anniversary campaign for ‘Pokemon’. It promoted various events celebrating the 10th anniversary of ‘Pokemon GO’.
The ad featured Jisoo alongside American pop star Lady Gaga, Canadian actor Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko, Monaco’s F1 driver Charles Leclerc, South African-born actor Trevor Noah, and Spanish football player Lamine Yamal.

A particularly eye-catching moment occurred when Jisoo described her favorite Pokemon in Korean. She initially said “So Cute” in English, then continued in Korean, remarking, “I think it’s similar to me,” and adding, “It has the ability to transform in many ways.”
Additionally, the official ‘Pokemon’ account shared an image of Jisoo posing with an Eevee doll.
Netizens reacted with comments such as “Jisoo is so cute,” “Eevee really suits her,” and “Jisoo really fits this role well.”
