The repercussions of BTS member Jungkook’s late-night live broadcast are spreading.
Early on the 26th, Jungkook held a personal live broadcast, interacting with fans for approximately 90 minutes, beginning around 3:30 AM.
During the broadcast, he was drinking with friends and his older brother, with whom he currently lives, and displayed a more candid demeanor than usual.
Notably, Jungkook revealed he is in the process of quitting smoking. He stated, ‘I smoked a lot, but I truly made an effort to quit,’ adding, ‘Now that I’m talking about this, the company will be all over it again,’ referring to his agency Big Hit Music.
Jungkook continued, ‘I don’t even know what I’m talking about. I’m frustrated. It’s annoying. I want to live my life the way I want. I don’t care about the company,’ expressing his dissatisfaction with the agency. He added, ‘I just want to be happy. It won’t work, but how many people can be honest with the world? I wanted to be honest with ARMYs, but if it weren’t for the company, I would have said everything.’
He also made daring offensive gestures, stating, ‘I couldn’t even make such gestures in front of ARMYs,’ and even used explicit language.
Some fans expressed concern regarding Jungkook’s excessively free-spirited demeanor. In response to comments urging him to end the live broadcast, Jungkook retorted, ‘Why would I turn off the live? I wish people would stop telling me what to do.’
Jungkook’s late-night drinking live broadcast quickly spread among the general public, primarily through online communities. HYBE has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident. Attention is now focused on what stance HYBE will take regarding Jungkook’s candid behavior, especially amidst potential pressure related to his comeback.
