Nine members of the K-pop group The Boyz are in a direct conflict with their agency, One Hundred, over the termination of their exclusive contract. Claims of ‘non-payment of settlement’ and ‘bearing losses’ have fueled tensions, raising the possibility of a legal dispute.
According to The Fact, nine of the ten members, excluding New, have sent One Hundred a notification of contract termination, citing breach of contract and loss of trust.
The members claim they requested related documents, including settlement statements, but One Hundred has not provided them for over a month. They also allege that One Hundred discontinued basic support for vehicles, accommodation deposits, and practice rooms.
In response, One Hundred stated that it paid significant exclusive contract fees assuming all 11 members would work together. The agency claimed that due to various controversies last year, one member left the team, disrupting normal group activities.
One Hundred argued that it endeavored to continue group activities despite incurring losses, and therefore cannot accept the contract termination. The agency maintained that it provided support for vehicles, managers, and practice rooms, but the members refused it.

The positions of both parties diverge significantly on key issues.
On the same day, attorney Kim Moon-hee of the law firm Yulchon, representing The Boyz, released an official statement asserting that since the second quarter of 2025, One Hundred has not made proper settlement payments for activities from July 2025 onward, thus breaching the exclusive contract.
Kim also emphasized that the agency’s lack of fulfillment of basic management duties has led to psychological pressure on the members. The attorney asserted that One Hundred has not adequately provided necessary support for entertainment activities and has delayed staff costs for several months.
While The Boyz claim ‘non-payment of settlement,’ One Hundred emphasizes that it has continued support despite financial losses.
Amid this, New has decided not to join the contract termination and will remain with One Hundred.
As both sides maintain their stance, a legal battle looms, with the settlement payment and breach of contract likely to become critical issues.
Meanwhile, The Boyz debuted in 2017, gaining popularity with songs like “Thrill Ride” and “Maverick,” and moved from IST Entertainment to One Hundred in December 2024.
