BTS’s Jungkook Expresses Comeback Pressure and Fear: ‘Just Great to Stand Before ARMY’

BTS members have confessed to feeling a great deal of pressure before their comeback.

At 8 PM on the 21st, ‘BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang’ was broadcast worldwide simultaneously via Netflix.

After performing ‘Butter’ and ‘MIC Drop,’ BTS rallied fans by asking, “Are you enjoying? ARMY, make some noise.”

Jimin expressed, “It doesn’t feel real that we’re back as a group. Aren’t you too cold? I thought the weather had warmed up, but it’s colder than expected. We need to do well. I’m happy performing as I see the happiness on your faces.”

Jungkook shared, “Don’t catch a cold. It’s been a while. I think I won’t forget tonight. To be honest, I felt the burden and fear of a comeback, but standing in front of you, it’s simply great.”

RM said, “We are going to present new songs from the album. I thought a lot about what music truly represents us. We worked in LA for two months and then completed the final touches in Korea. We had long discussions about how to present ourselves and unify. We also undertook many new challenges this time, did you feel it?”

Suga revealed, “We wanted to showcase our honest selves as a group of seven. We worked hard to present a more mature and grown BTS than before, and it made me happy.”

Jin stated, “Since the members talked about the album, I’d like to speak about tonight’s stage. The atmosphere is so good, but don’t we have to move on to the next song?” he said, before introducing ‘Aliens,’ a track from the ‘Arirang’ album.

Meanwhile, BTS unveiled performances of new songs from their fifth studio album ‘Arirang,’ including the title track ‘SWIM,’ for the first time in about three years and five months since ‘Yet to Come in BUSAN’ in October 2022.
