BIGBANG members G-Dragon and Taeyang showed support for T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun) as he embarked on his solo venture, with Daesung now joining them.
On April 4, Daesung posted the album art for T.O.P’s first full album, ‘ANOTHER DIMENSION,’ on his social media account, encouraging T.O.P’s comeback.
The day before, G-Dragon and Taeyang generated buzz by sharing screenshots of themselves streaming ‘ANOTHER DIMENSION,’ accompanied by supportive emojis. Notably, G-Dragon garnered attention by uploading a screenshot streamed at 8:19, a time chosen to commemorate BIGBANG’s August 19 debut date.

Released on April 3, ‘ANOTHER DIMENSION’ marks T.O.P’s first solo album in 13 years since ‘DOOM DADA.’ It features a total of 11 tracks, including the double title tracks ‘DESPERADO’ and ‘Amazing!’
Through this album, T.O.P indirectly addresses various controversies surrounding him. ‘Amazing!’ incorporates lyrics from BIGBANG hits like ‘Lies’ and ‘Bang Bang Bang,’ while ‘THE GIANT’ subtly modifies his rap part from ‘LOSER.’
In ‘OVAYA,’ lyrics such as “Leaving behind a colorful history, new resolve. I’m so sorry but I loved, I’m leaving BIG-BANG” dismiss speculation about him rejoining BIGBANG.
T.O.P debuted as a member of BIGBANG in 2006. However, in 2017, he was embroiled in a drug scandal, which caused public uproar.
He subsequently hinted at retiring from the entertainment industry but returned in 2024 through Netflix’s original series ‘Squid Game’ Season 2.
